V took over for me again this week. He said “Olive is a cool color”….and off he went…making a video. It seems that when men (=little boys) think of the color Olive….they think of the Military! I tend to think of a Martini…but that is just my own warped sense of color…..hahaha. ANYWAY…..In V’s case it is not just ANY military…but the Russian Military! I have NO idea why. Sometimes I think he does it purposely as he KNOWS I grew up in America. And I blame EVERY thing that does not go my way on some kind of “communist plot”. So I think he just wants to MAKE me spend some time in a “Communist State” so I can get a feel for it. All that being said…he DID come up with a REALLY cool video. (And NO…we don’t live in Russia…or even want to).

I have almost 40K items in my inventory. <Stops a moment and waits for the gasping to stop> Yes…I KNOW it is an exorbitant amount! V likes to remind me of that. But I gently remind him that it is not HALF as large as it is going to be! And not even a THIRD as large of some people I know! (Did I tell you that in addition to being color blind, I am also REALLY bad at math…:/) Anyway….out of ALLLLL those clothes (and yes….MOST of them are clothes of some kind) I have ONE pair of favorite pants in ALL of SL. It is funny….I don’t wear them often…but they are REALLY my FAVORITE pair of pants. There is just something about the way I feel when I put them on that I love. They are from Cubic Effect. And in my colorblind world (And V agreed) they are Olive. I KNOW the box they came in said “Khaki”, but they look Olive to me. They are not like any other SL pants I have. They remind me of something that Lauren Bacall would wear, but even sexier! They are unbuttoned…and kind of open, but the pants themselves are loose fitting all the way down.The bottom part of the pants are sculpted, so they do not “sit well” at the knee…but they are SO amazing you do not mind standing in them! I paired them up with a simple but well made blouse from Cubic Effect also. ALL of her stuff has beautiful lines and the shading is impeccable.

The skin for this video is from Dulce Secrets. It had the perfect lip color to match my blouse and was a nice tan shade with sultry eyes that gave me the look I was going for.

My hair was by Elikatira and had bangs that came down PERFECTLY over the eyes, not too long, but long enough to be sexy.

No one does sexy like Azoury!  So I was thrilled to find some boots by her in just the right shade of red and black.

I wore a choker in this video that I had gotten as a hunt gift from LouLou&Co. It is called “Broken Heart” and it is ADORABLE! I paired it with a bracelet from Ear Candy, nails (and rings) from Finesmith Designs and Lashes by Ema’s Secret….along with some eyes from Ibanez Eyes.

In the video I wore a hat that was part of a military type outfit that we got from Bare Rose and the “Commie Star” was created by V himself and can be downloaded from our other site…Open Sim Creations.

I hope you enjoyed our little video. I actually had to ride along for this one and must admit I enjoyed my voice over part at the beginning!!! This week did not quite go as I had planned, so unfortunately, Periwinkle is still in the works….although I ALMOST have it ready to shoot! I guess I better get my act in order as next weeks color is pink…and V’s first reaction was “Pink is a porn color you know?” Men (=Boys) and their “toys”….oh my. <rolls her eyes> So I guess I am on my own and you guys will have to put up with the same ol boring NON moving stuff next week. Let’s hope Luna’s next color will be something a little less erotic! Until then…..be challenged!
