YAY! 9 months! Happy Anniversary, my love. As usual, the time spent with you was amazing. Thank you SO much for the poem. I LOVE the thought of being so many things to you. It is my goal to eventually be your everything! (laughs) You are to me, love….truly you are. Thank you for taking the time to be with me. I know it is a difficult time for you right now, so it just makes me appreciate you all the more that you would decide to spend your time with me. As is so often the case, I find myself being reflective and thinking of “the way it all started”. It still amazes me and when I think of the chance…that two people living half way around the world, would meet and fall hopelessly in love, well…I never stop thinking of how…against all odds…we were meant to be.

El: I have called you many names, all of them loving and kind…all of them meant. I know there will never be another. Would it bother you if from time to time I called you “husband”?

El: Yes…we are.

El: It is very similar in my mind… to “lord”. It brings a feeling of submission.
V smiles.

El: I NEED that. I don’t know why, but I know I do.
V: And I need you to do that. Because it’s right for us.
My precious husband, never in all my life have I loved the way I love you. Never has anyone moved me the way you do. I have NEVER felt so complete. I know this journey has taken us places we never meant to go. I know we started this together, ignorant of the things to come…and I cannot help but wonder, what things lie before us. All I know, is that whatever happens or where ever we end up…I will always be devoted to you…FOREVER. I am happy to be your partner, your sleep, the sky, the night…I will be happy to be your wife, your love, slave and more. “Yes, lord…as you desire, my king. May it always be as you desire.”
