Happy Anniversary, Love! Yes..it is that time again! WHEEEE! I LOVE having 2 anniversaries a month! Perhaps we should just have one weekly? (giggles) I LOVE every opportunity I have to tell you how much I love you and how happy I am to be with you, my husband. You have made me SO happy, love. 6 months ago…when I was finally able to take your name and be your partner…was truly one of the happiest days I can remember. I will never forget “suggesting” it to you (Thank you, Lena for the idea!) and remembering that before I could even see if you were interested, I had a partner invitation in my mail box! I was SO pleased and kind of surprised that I did not have to ask you if you wanted to…we did not have to talk it over…it was not a huge ordeal…it was just an IMMEDIATE decision! I AM SO happy to be Mrs. Firecaster! Thank you, love. You will never know what it means to me. I KNEW that I was yours even before that…and while we did not HAVE to have a title or have a need to PROVE anything to anyone…I was SO happy when I could. And to this day…I want to walk around with a big sign that says “I belong to him!” I have seen people with it in their titler…or group name….and I always smile…and think that I know how they feel. I am proud of it…and everytime I look at our home…and see “FIRECASTER” on it in big letters, I feel SO proud to know that it is OURS…that it is MY home with YOU…and you are happy to let all the world know…that we are indeed…one.
I survived Mother’s Day! I am glad it is over. I tried really hard not to think of the fact that my mother is gone…and I no longer have one to take her place. I tried not to think about my children being so far away and the thoughts they must have of me. And as always, I thought of my biological mother and in my heart, wished her a Happy Mother’s Day. I tried to find her, but could not. I just hope, that in her heart she has come to grips with all that happened and most of all, that she can feel that I love her and have no malice towards her. That is important to me.
I was able to talk to my children and it was bittersweet. I saw them and they are ALL so beautiful. I am proud of each one of them…and while I am not sure about most of the things I have accomplished in my life, I CAN look into their eyes and say “It is good!”. They are not perfect, and they will have MANY lessons to learn in this life, as we all do…but over all…pretty darn good! They make me proud. I hope that someday they will be proud of their Mother too…and will come to know me for who I really am.
I have thought of you all evening, my precious husband. All I can think of was the way your tired, red eyes looked at me and how BAD I could tell you felt and yet…you sat there…looking at me, because you knew it was important to me. Thank you, love. I hope you were able to get SOME sleep and I HOPE that you will feel better today! I cannot wait for the day that I can “take care of you”…and yes…I will do it whether you like it or not…so be prepared! But until I get there…you must do it for me! I NEED you…so please take care of YOU! YOU are important to me! You are my world, love…so please….make sure it spins on axis!
I am…forever….your personal…:)…slave…D
