Does anyone else have trouble keeping up with and blogging all the amazing content out there? Sometimes it is just hard to find the time to blog it all! I cannot tell you how many AMAZING blogging ideas are running through my head at any given moment. SO much to blog….so little time! <sigh>
With that being said, this week I have decided to feature a designer and store that I have LOVED for quite some time now…Azoury! Even the name sounds exotic. And if you have never been there you will not be disappointed! Every item in the store is edgy and different! You never have to worry about looking like “the girl next door” when wearing a design from Azoury’s. You can be sure of being fashionable and unique at the same time.
This design is Azoury’s twist on the parachute pants that have become all the rage lately. (OK…I KNOW there is some new term for these pants, but it fails me at the moment and I hate to say it, but all my brain can think of right now is the fashion term from the 1980’s…LOL) Mayhem & Aniki Seetan the co-founders and creators of Azoury have paired them with an adorable loose fitting cropped top that makes them not only edgy but sexy. The outfit is available in a TON of colors and as it is mesh, 5 sizes.
One of the very first things that brought me to Azoury was it’s shoes and boots. They are always SO cute and unique while still remaining reasonably priced! That is a win, win for me! I tried to get a good close up shot of the shoes so you can see how really COOL they are! I have seen lots of scorpion jewelry, but these are the first shoes/bootees that I have seen with scorpions forming the heel and base. It is as though you are walking on scorpions! What a cool idea! Unfortunately these shoes have been sitting in my inventory for a while…one of those things that I bought and LOVED and then placed in my inventory and they got lost…:/ But when I saw this outfit, I remembered right away the shoes that I needed to go with it. And of course, they were from Azoury as well! They too are available in several different color choices and textures.
In addition to cool shoes and clothing Azoury also has adorable handbags for sale. So if you are the handbag type, these are some bags that you will want in your inventory! They can take a casual, everyday look to that place that will turn heads and set you apart!
My hair is from a new store that I have found, Secrets Hair. These creators are implementing a new way of combining mesh, sculpties and flexies to create hair. They do this in an attempt to give customers SOME ability to edit their hair, hopefully getting it to fit your head correctly without the use of an alpha texture. I must say the process takes some getting used to, but is not much more different than manually editing ANY non-mesh hair. I LOVED the messy look of this hair and have found that most of their styles are quite unusual and different from any I have seen, many that I would consider futuristic, fantasy or maybe even Gorean at times. Definitely somewhere you would want to stop on the way to creating the new and different you!
When attempting to find a sexy skin to complete this look, I immediately thought of Akeruka. This is from their Meg line and I LOVE the pouty lips and exotic feel. Akeruka has a nice selection of skins to accommodate almost ANY look.
Before I forget I would like to take a moment to tell you little about the location of this shoot. These pictures were taken at Mumtaz and I am sure you can see a replica of the Taj Mahal behind me. Underneath the Taj is a club with a frequent DJ and to the west of the Taj is a temple and to the south another temple with prayer wheels and there are information prims throughout the sim displaying the real life inspiration for each build. It is a really lovely spot!!
