Quick and Dirty

For those of you that have taken a look at my flickr photostream, you may be aware that I am a model for A&A hair. Each week Alice Klinger, the co owner and co creator of Alli & Ali designs gives the models the hair that she has created for that week and we are to put together a “look” for the hair, take pictures of it and then get them to Alice so she can pick the ones that she would like to feature as the ad for that weeks new hair. (If you are not familiar with A&A hair she gives away one copy of the hair as a group gift and offers another as a voting gift each week in her store. You REALLY need to take advantage of that!) Anyway….each week I put together an entire outfit to model this hair and I, on occasion, have had someone ask about different elements of the pics. And most of the time, I LOVE the look so much that I just cannot resist taking pictures that Alice doesn’t even ask for! SO…I have decided to feature these pics in a new category on TGIB that I have called “Q&D” for Quick and Dirty. I will not say much about these pics, in fact, most of the time it will be nothing more than the styling notes. But this way, if anyone is wondering where I found that GREAT necklace at…or where that CUTE dress came from…you will know. It will also give me a forum to post pics that I may take at random during the week. I will continue to feature my pics along with an extended “commentary” each week under my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge tab. But the rest of the pics will be found here under Q&D.

For those of you that bother to look at my pics or read the blog….thank you SOOO much. It means so much to me when someone comments on them, or adds one of them as a favorite to their collection! I have so much fun doing it and it is nice to know that someone else enjoys it as well. (And yes, V…this means YOU TOO!)

And so….on we go to our first REAL entry in the Q&D…….
