Mein Koenig,

Our time today was very special to me, love.  I know you wait on me….you are SO patient!  You don’t push me…you just wait patiently.  Until you know I can’t stand it anymore and then ask.  Every time is SO wonderful.  It is so HARD for me not to stare!  I want to BURN the image into my head….along with your voice and your breathing and all the wonderful things you say to me.  I get so embarrassed that I almost hold my breath!  And I know my face must be red!  And of course…unfortunately there is always a tiny little part of me that is scared to death.  SO afraid of disappointing you…of waking up to find it has all been a dream….a wonderful, beautiful dream that lulled me into a story that was never meant to be.  And every time it is always the same….I look deep into your eyes and all I see is love….pure, unadulterated love.  A greater love than I have ever known before.  When will I believe?  Why is it so easy for you?  Why can you just be YOU and I struggle so?  Why do I spend most of my time afraid?  I have NEVER, EVER had such love before…I had truly begun to think that it was only for fairy tales and Hollywood movies…and now I know….it IS real…it DOES exist….I see it in your beautiful, dark brown eyes when they look at me.  I see it in the soft pink of your lips as they smile back at me….hear it in the tender whisper of your voice….and yes, watch it as your body responds to mine.  It is all there.  All I need is to look at you and KNOW it is true. 

May it always be so, love….may the love that has been placed in us from the beginning of time….always and forever burn bright and live on to spawn tales and stories for centuries to come.
