I have to admit I found last months numerous events a little much.  Don’t get me wrong.  I LOOOOOVE events….love, Love, LOVE them.  But, there were several things I wanted to blog that I just did not get around to, there were just SO many!  They were good ideas and things that I just could NOT let go, so I decided to go ahead and blog as many as I could anyway!

This particular look is from Azoury and was first featured last month at the Swag Fest.  I just LOVE this look!!!  The top comes in 4 dark tones and the pants come in six different muted shades.  The sweater top has a HUGE neckpiece that is kind of a cross between a cowl neck and a turtle neck.  It is really different and I just love the way it makes me feel when I wear it.  The full length sleeves end with a silver buckled band at the bottom of each sleeve.  It is a beautiful sweater.  The belted pants are made to be loose, kind of wrinkled and somewhat assymetrical.  They are really nicely done.  The shoes are also from Azoury and can be purchased separately.  The first thing that made me fall in love with Azoury was its’ shoes and these are some of the most unusual I’ve seen in a while.  The base is a basic beautifully textured pump set on a kind of ladder, lifting the pump off the ground and forming the heel.  There are 7 different colors from which to choose.

Last month’s Cinema event lent itself to many different pose makers, and these poses are some that were featured from Purple Poses.  I have never been much into cigarettes, but I have to admit there was just something about this cigarette with it’s holder that made me feel like old Hollywood elegance.  The cigarette and 5 different poses is available at the Purple Poses mainstore.

Heidy is the latest skin from Essences and is currently available at The Dressing Room.  It comes with a no brow skin, dark brow, light brow and 3 different lipsticks.  It is in a sweet, pale skin tone with nicely lined eyes.

There are a few small items that I feel really pull this look together.  The first of these is the hair.  This is Mint, from Analog Dog.  I have been an admirer of AD hair for a LONG time, but recently I crossed the boundary and bought a few pieces of AD’s wavy do’s and have NOT been disappointed.  If you are looking for curly, wavy or ethnic hair…AD is your place.

One thing that I REALLY admire and unfortunately did not take a close up pic of well enough for you to see, is these metal stripe nails from Izzie’s.  They are two different tones separated by a metal strip and they are lovely.  The color change HUD comes with a ton of different duos to choose from.  Recently Izzie’s has come out with 3 new sets of nails.  These, a long set of french tips and a classic set of Autumn colors.  At only 199L each for a TON of different color choices, I picked up ALL three different ones!  AND her nails come with 13 (I think) different color gloves that will match almost any skin tone you happen to be wearing.

Last but not least is this long gold chain necklace with resin links.  This can only be found on the Marketplace.  In fact, *MM* ONLY has a shop on Marketplace and each of their items are 10L each…..yes you heard me….10L.  The purple links in this necklace are color change.  You have to type the color into your chat…no luxury of a drop down menu.  But for 10L, I thought it was worth the trouble.  There are not many SETS available at their shop on Marketplace…mostly separates, but they are all well done and for 10L each, I managed to pick up pretty much everything…you should too!

One final thing….the build that you see used in these pics is number 004 of William Weaver’s builds currently available on Marketplace FOR FREE!  They each are formulated to make beautiful shadows when used with the proper wind light.  Some of them are fairly prim heavy, so you must have the prim allowance to rez them.  But if you have a few hundred prims to spare, they are well worth it.
