Well here we are…week 21 into the 52WOCC…and who should appear? Yes, as was alluded to in my blogpost from last week, my sweet partner and the love of my life, Vanish or āVā as he is affectionately known asked if he could participate in this week’s challenge! I was SO excited. The concept and ALL of the pictures were taken by him. I did some minor editing to pics…but mostly, it was his baby!
Just the week before I had bought the CUTEST dress AND shoes from Azoury (again…what can I say!?) and when I read that white would be the color for this week I actually jumped up and down and clapped my hands knowing that I had the perfect outfit already. I was NOT about to try to dress V…he has his own very distinct style (which I LOVE, baby) and I knew better than to try to mess with it…but I also knew that he had a white outfit that he loved; having bought quite some time ago from B@re Rose that would match mine quite nicely.
V is well known for wearing his monotone skins and not too long after we partnered one of the first things he bought me was this beautiful skin from Fallen Gods…to which he had a matching one, of course. I have bought many ones since then…and some I really like, but this one has a sentimental value that I cannot shake. It has a beautiful teal colored tattoo that runs the length of the skin…and of course, this dress showed that off beautifully! I paired it with some lip color from MOCK to change it up a bit.
I had just gotten this hair from Alli & Ali Designs and thought it would be the perfect length. I did not want anything too long to get in the way of the amazing shoulder piece that goes with the dress and the curls and wispy tendrils that frame the face give it a feminine feel.
And of course, for something this different…I needed some jewelry that was different. And when I think of cutting edge jewelry I always think of Finesmith Designs. The choker, earrings, bracelet AND nails (with rings) are all hers. I told V tonight that many times when I put her jewelry on, I just want to run around naked and not wear anything that might detract from it….HAHAHA. He had no objections to that of course!

It’s a 1963 Primouth Manta Ray. V, posting late here but you have good taste in cars (and, need I say so?, in ladies as well).
The only ‘Vettes (or SL copies) that interest me are the Stingray series. Now if I can only find a ’67 Pontiac GTO for lagging along SL’s roadways.
Heh, I spent an aweful lot of money on cars in SL, and at one point must’ve had one of the few existing complete collections of Primouth cars (courtesy of Ahkenatan Grommet himself, who was so generous to give me some copies of the models he never put out for sale even). I also have a wonderful 1959 Citroen DS 19 I am very fond of. Oh, and El, of course.
