And so it begins. I have always known that once I was with you, you would teach me and I would learn from you. And so…I am beginning to draw from your vast knowledge! I LOVE to watch you at work…and hear all the things that interest you and make you who you are. That includes your opinions on the world at large, religion, justice, politics, love and family. It also includes the many things that you know how to do and to work. I often imagine sitting at my computer in our home and using all the things you have taught me…and in many respects hope to be an extension of your ownself, love. Don’t worry…I have not lost MY self…it is just that myself, in SO many ways…seems to be a mirrored female version of you! So yes…we are very similar, I have just had my growth stunted by the “holding pattern” that I was in until I could get to you. I hope that we will create together, play together, love together and learn together for many, many years to come.
As you go today to sign the papers on a large piece of our future…please know that I am with you…that I am as excited as you are…and that I cannot wait to be there with you! I too am working to make that happen and each day just strengthens my determination! I am reminded today of how much I love you and all that you represent to me. I am reminded of what true love is and how you show that to me on a daily basis. I am reminded of what TRULY being a wife and partner means and the way you make me know each day that YOU are my husband. I am reminded that people that REALLY love each other don’t lie to each other…even when it hurts. I am reminded that when you love someone THEIR best interest is first and foremost in your head and you will do whatever it takes to see them safe, well and happy. You let me know that love is more than just a word…it is not just a noun…it is a verb…it causes action. It does not have to be expounded upon daily, it does not have to be told to you a hundred times, it is shown every moment in the care and concern you show for one another and the sacrifices you make for each other. I SEE it in the way your eyes look at me. If you never spoke a word I would KNOW it! There is NO DOUBT in my mind that you love me…and that you love me in the same measure and in the same way that I love you. I do not have to feel like I am struggling to make you love me…you just do. It is as natural as breathing. It is the way it was always meant to be.
And so, my precious angel….if it is meant that I am to live on this earth eternally in order that I may be with you…then so be it. You are right…we DO enjoy it here and we DO enjoy being with each other and it IS our heaven on earth as long as we are together. And so…it begins….again….
