My Precious Husband,

I had such a wonderful time with you!  Thank you SO much for all you do for me and all you share with me.  It seems that even the simplest things are SO wonderful when they are shared with you.  I am glad that you are eager to share with me and can put up with all my silly questions and comments.  I honestly feel like I have been reborn at times….there are SO many things that I know NOTHING about.  You may have to be patient with me for a while as I learn and grow.  There are SO many new things to see and do….so many things to become accustomed to…I fear at times that it may be overwhelming at first.  I just try to keep in mind that it is only one day at a time, only one thing at a time.  I just keep thinking about how stressful the first few weeks were when I made the first move…and that was in a culture I am used to…I’m sure you remember too! (El covers her eyes and tries not to think about that too much!)  But I have and am slowly adjusting…so I know it can be done.  Just please keep in mind… that even GOOD change is still change…and while I consider myself able to adapt better than some, I know that it can be quite stressful and cause me to behave erratically at times.  It is a good thing you are a patient man!  Thank you for being more than just my husband and lover, you are my teacher.
