STYLING NOTES

Lingerie:  Vita’s Boudoir – Find Another Fool, corsage, panties, stockings, satin black gloves, garters, harnes, pearls necklace, pearls tiara, chest ribbon, garter left & right ribbons, satin ruffles skirt ( I LOVE Vita’s Boudoir! If you are looking for something different…something on the edge….unlike most all other stuff on the grid…this is your place. Mostly clothing, but also a few other things…like furniture and accessories, hair…etc. REALLY nice!)

Tattoo tears:  The Little Bat – Raven Tears (2.0) (Had to have some tears for a “Bad Romance”, no?  SO glad to see I had this tattoo layer lost in my inventory!  That way I got to keep the skin I wanted and still get the LOOK I wanted.)

*Lipstick:  Izzie’s – Lipstick rust (I sometimes feel bad about using lipstick from one skin designer with another skin designers skin, but this shade was EXACTLY what I wanted and there are few designers I know that make lipstick as well as Izzie.  Her lipcolors can be used with almost any size lip (or at least the ones I use…and I admit, I do not do unusually LARGE lips…so if you do, this might be problematic, not sure) but they blend SO well and she has so many beautiful colors.  I would have to say her lipcolors are comparable to some designers I know that do nothing but makeup.  They are exceptional!  Be sure and check out the new pack of lipgloss she recently released.  SO many nice variations of gloss!)

*Skin:   {.essences.} – Maria skin *Vivante red* Makeup 01, Maria Cleavage Vivante, Blush: nude  (I love this skin from essences.  Inka was one of the first designers I noticed that came out with this “ginger” color of eyebrow and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!  It is just perfect for my red hair!  And I DO love to wear red!)

 It’s official.  I am WAY behind on the 50 Shades of Sexy Blogger Challenge.  I should already be onto the NEXT week, but I kinda got stuck on this one…had a few things comes up in RL that kinda set me behind in my blogging and it does not seem to take much to blow it all to hell!  But as I tried to come up with something for this challenge, I just could not think of one single thing for “Pour some sugar on me”…well…white.  That was the ONLY thing I could think of…but there was nothing else that I could think of that had to do with sugar and sexy for this challenge.  So rather than get even farther behind, I decided to stick with white and go with more of a Valentine’s Day theme.

I had read another blog that mentioned some lingerie that they had found on Marketplace for only 10 Lindens!!!  And so I decided to check it out and found out that {Etiquette} had some adorable little lingerie sets for only TEN LINDENS!  Who could pass that up?  Not a compulsive SL hoarder like me!  SO, I pretty much grabbed at LEAST one style in every color, including this “one piece” white set that just seemed so sweet and innocent that it qualified for “sugar”…:)  I paired it with some pink sexy laced stilettos from Baby Monkey, a GORGEOUS pink heart set with changeable metals from WTG ,(It includes a necklace not shown here and another set of matching earrings…and it is REALLY a shame that you cannot see the absolutely amazing nails that go with it!  The entire set is phenomenal!) and cute short hair with colorable streaks from A&A with the February group gift from Hush Skins.

I was not sure what pose to use for this, when I came across this adorable pose prop featured on the 60 Linden Weekend Sales from Katink…and I was in love!  I think it is by far the CUTEST pose prop for Valentine’s Day that I have seen in a long time!  So naturally, I knew I was going to pose with my wonderful partner Vanish, but I had NO idea what he should wear.  SO I thought about just having him totally naked… from the waist up anyway.  And then he told me to wait a sec…and he put this on!  It was perfect!  I have seen him wear it before and I always think he truly looks like an angel in it, if not even god-like, but in this pose….oh man…I just melt!  Bare Rose is almost ALL Vanish will wear anymore.  And who can blame him?  The style and attention that June Dion puts to each outfit is INCREDIBLE.  They are always SO reasonably priced with TONS of colors and options, ensuring that anyone on the grid can look like a million bucks!  They have almost every style imaginable and you can always find what you are looking for, whether that is something more fantasy-like…such as this one or a period piece (V LOVES their pirate-like outfits) to futuristic cyber punk!

This is our FOURTH Valentine’s Day together! (Can you believe it?  I didn’t…LOL  But after MUCH calculations and persuading on V’s part, I have come to believe it is true!)  Each year with Vanish just gets better and better.  He has held my heart in his capable hands for so long now, that I have almost forgotten what it feels like to be apart from him!  And I NEVER want to find that out!  My dear, sweet V…you are the love of my life!  You mean the world to me.  I am proud and honored to be your partner, in every world that we share!  May we have MANY more V Days together.  And a life filled with love and caring.  Happy Valentine’s Day, my angel….

I first started blogging as a participant in Luna Jubillee‘s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.  It was fun and wonderful and then I got behind in my posts.  And then it was not so fun.  And so I did not finish the challenge…and I felt really bad about that.  I know we should not “make” ourselves do things that are SUPPOSED to be fun….and so I didn’t, but I still felt bad none the less.  The next year, Luna decided to do another challenge and did 52 WOCC II.  I decided not to participate.  I would often see bloggers who had done the challenge and I would look at all the cool colors that Luna had come up with and I would feel that urge to participate.  But I didn’t.  I wouldn’t even let myself do it occasionally because I felt like it was not good enough. Yes, I know….yes, I suppose that DOES border on OCD.  But it is the way I am…and I can’t seem to help it.  So I pretty much resigned NOT to participate in ANY blogger challenges again…it was just too much pressure for me.

Then I saw a new blogger challenge issued by Shiloh Selene at Unapologetic Second Life Fashion Blog.  It was called 50 Shades of Sexy…and a longing to participate was born!  It is a lingerie challenge roughly based on a challenge that Juicybomb issued around Christmas time that lasted for 12 days.  But this one….was for 50 weeks!!   Once a week for 50 weeks a word or phrase would be listed and you would need to blog something representative of that phrase while ALSO containing lingerie!  I could not help it.  I had to do it.

So here you have it…this weeks challenge, Cotton Candy.  The shirt/thong set is from a LOVELY designer, Serina Lacava. And this set and many other colors and patterns that go with it (including a sexy lace see thru set in several different colors) are part of  SLC’s offering for the 60 L Weekend Sale.  So not only do you have a cute set…you get it for only 60 Lindens! SLC always has a cute sale item each week for the 60 L weekend sale and Serina is SO talented that you never know if it will be lingerie, a beautiful ball gown, shoes or an urban/goth set!  Whatever it is, it will be cute!

I have also featured one of the newest hairs from [Underscore], Luma (mesh).  If you are not familiar with [Underscore], it is the new re-branding of the former Secrets Hair, but that is about where the similarities end.  The founder of [Underscore], Syndel Davieau has put in HOURS of time formulating 3 new hair textures for her new brand…and they are AWESOME!  You can read more about it at their website, here.  All of [Underscore]’s new hair come with a color change HUD (for which my inventory can breath a sigh of relief) and in addition to the normal colors, also come with color change streaks, allowing you to customize the hair just that much more!  When I put Luma on, I immediately felt the feeling of thick, rich, luscious hair.  And when I began to play with all the different color shades and streaks, I was even more excited!  [Underscore] is starting small with just a few offerings in their new brand, but it is WELL worth your time to stop by and check them out while picking up a few styles.  I think you will like what you see!

Before I run off to start the next weeks challenge, I need to tell you that the sweet little pink tinged skin you see me wearing in the pic is a current offering at Perfect Wardrobe from Izzie’s.  It is the Bubblegum version of Geanna and comes with and without cleavage.  She has sweet pink cheeks and pink, kissable lips with a pink tint to her eyebrows.  She is sweet and only available for a limited time…so RUN and pick her up!
