Not saying I’m the best driver alive (even though I have 70 hours of practice in GTA IV on record), but really, most of the silliness is unintentional and related to LAG and the SL physics engine.

[rant]… and THIS is why I don’t get it that people complain about the physics engine being so bad in OpenSim, because if you’re really into driving, or sailing, or flying, or whatnot, Second Life is hardly the best platform for that. I’ve been travelling the SL mainland far and wide, and all of it mostly by car or plane, and it was never anything close to “smooth sailing”; instead, I had snapbacks every 2 seconds from the lag, held my breath at every sim crossing (I would crash at the 6th or 7th crossing on average) and driving in a straight line or going around corners is really a challenge.[/rant]
